Senior Registration Assessment Officer

Join our dynamic Education team as a Senior Registration Assessment Officer, where you will leverage your pharmacy expertise to quality assure the national registration assessment and work with stakeholders on the long-term assessment strategy and re-design. The role

As a Senior Registration Assessment Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our registration assessments. 

You will lead the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures, manage the question bank, and provide project management support for the Board of Assessors and the Reasonable Adjustments Panel. You will lead on the review and management of differential attainment and implement strategies to tackle this.
 

This role is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of our pre-employment due diligence.

The successful applicant will:

  • Develop registration assessment material and maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy practice, providing coaching to question writers and standard setters as necessary.
  • Project manage activities carried out by external contractors, anticipating risks and managing these effectively.  
  • Deputise and support the Professional Assessment Manager, making sure work is delivered on time and to a high quality
  • Be a registered pharmacist with broad UK pharmacist experience, preferably multi sector.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of a re-designed assessment strategy for the GPhC
